The inauguration of a factory is the official launch of a decisive stage. It is organized over several months with various objectives such as establishing a local presence and positioning in the market.
The objectives
Presenting your company and its mission at the local level is essential, both to industrial partners and local service providers. Inviting elected officials and the local press helps strengthen its presence in the area.
It is necessary to harmonize logistics and protocol according to the guest list and the target audience. The goal is also to thank, retain, and unite people around this key event for the company’s development.
Finally, this type of event can play an important role in brand awareness. An inauguration is an opportunity to strengthen ties, both with guests and with all employees.
The challenge for EYCO
Our mission was to highlight the company, its values, and the people who work there daily, as well as to thank the financial and industrial partners who have supported us from the beginning.
One of the biggest challenges was organizing the workshop tour while considering the confidentiality of our products and processes. Many guests accepted the invitation, and we made sure to arrange a personalized tour in several groups to meet everyone’s expectations as much as possible.
Another important point was the attendance of Nicolas Dufourcq, the general director of BPI France, which likely meant the presence of other officials such as the prefect and regional representatives. Even though the date was already set, we had to choose various service providers, manage the technical and logistical aspects, handle invitations and the guest list, and plan the inauguration ceremony. We decided to create our corporate video for the occasion and to revamp part of our website.
